Old School Gaming
Games like *Elite*, *Lode Runner*, *Frogger*, and *The Bard's Tale* set the standard for action, adventure, and RPG experiences. They had no voice acting, fancy 3D graphics, or online multiplayer — yet they were ridiculously fun.
Many of these games pushed hardware limits, using clever programming to get the most out of the C64's graphics and sound chips. Some of them are still being remade or played today in emulators.
